Single sign-on and online player registration for a football club
One account for all the club’s platforms, and a platform where players, both under and over 18, sign up and register. Thousands of players use it today.
Where it started
The club ran several platforms, each with its own login. The same person could sign up with different email addresses on different platforms, which made it hard for the club to know who was who and to manage users.
The club also needed online sign-up and registration for players, both under and over 18, and a way to manage its staff and affiliated clubs.
What I did
I designed and built the single sign-on (SSO) system. With one account, users get into every platform the club runs, see the ones they are signed up to and the benefits they are entitled to.
For the same club I built the registration platform. Players sign up and register with the team, and from the same panel administrators manage staff and affiliated clubs.
What changed
Each person has one account that works on all the club’s platforms, and the club manages users from one place.
Thousands of players use the registration platform today.
