Privacy Policy
This page explains what happens to your data when you visit giusepperusso-dev.it, under EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
In short
This site uses no cookies, no third-party analytics, and does not track you. It is a static site. The only things that happen to data are: server logs (needed to run the site) and the emails you send me (I read them to reply). Your light/dark theme preference stays in your browser (localStorage) and is never sent anywhere.

1. Server logs (hosting)
For every request, the hosting provider automatically records technical data such as the visitor’s IP address, browser user agent, requested URL and time. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, prevent abuse, and produce aggregate visit statistics.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR). Retention: per the hosting provider’s policy (typically 6–12 months). Disclosure: none beyond the hosting provider (see “Recipients”), except on request of judicial authorities.
2. Emails you send me
When you write to info@giusepperusso-dev.it or giuseppe.russo.dev@gmail.com, I receive the data you include (typically name, email address, message content).
Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR). Purpose: replying to you and managing any professional relationship. Retention: as long as needed for the request or, if a contract follows, for the period required by Italian civil and tax law (10 years). Disclosure: none beyond the email providers (see “Recipients”), except where required by law.
Recipients
Data is processed on my behalf, only to run the site and email, by Hostinger (site hosting and the info@giusepperusso-dev.it mailbox), acting as processor (art. 28 GDPR). Emails sent to giuseppe.russo.dev@gmail.com go through Google (Gmail), which processes data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. I do not sell or pass data to anyone else.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of any kind: no technical, analytics or third-party cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to accept.

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection at any time by writing to info@giusepperusso-dev.it.
Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

This policy may be updated. The date of the last change is shown at the bottom of the page.
