How I work, on every service
The phases are the same for every project. What changes is how long they take.
- Intro call
You tell me about the problem and how you work today. At the end of the call I tell you whether I can help, with no commitment.
- Written analysis
A short document with the problem broken into parts and drawn as diagrams, the possible options, the pros and cons of each and an estimate of time and cost.
- Phased proposal
The work split into phases, each with a goal you can check. You decide phase by phase whether to go on.
- Delivery
Each phase ends with something you can use and test on real work.
- Launch and support
Go-live, training for the people who will use it, and agreed support after release.
Questions that apply to every service
Do I own the code?
Yes. Code and data are yours: I hand them over in the repository you choose, with documentation, so you can keep developing the software with others.
Do you work on site?
No, I work fully remotely, with clients across Italy. Calls, screen sharing and shared tools cover every phase, from analysis to training.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, when needed, before I see any code or data. That is also why the work on this site is described without client names.
Can I hire you for the analysis only?
Yes. I can stop at analysis and design and leave development to your team or your vendor, or take on just part of the work.
How do you charge?
Per project, at a fixed price for the agreed scope, or by the hour, at an hourly rate set before we start.
